What is it?
Liposuction is a cosmetic type of surgery which breaks down and “absorbs” fat and is also called lipoplasty, liposculpture suction, lipectomy or lipo.
It is mostly used for the belly, thighs, hips, neck, chin, upper and back arms, and the back.
Fat is removed with a hollow device called a cannula. This is placed under the skin. The cannula is an applied, strong and high-pressure vacuum.
Liposuction cost is an important factor to take into consideration when thinking about liposuction operation. Together with this, the quality of liposuction is more important than the liposuction cost. If the final aim of liposuction is to have a happy patient, the expertise and experience of the surgeon is more important than finding the cheapest surgeon. Liposuction prices are important, but it is not the most important factor when considering lipo-surgery. Be attentive not to put your body on the “Shelf of the Cheap.”
